James Purser

With over ten years in the industry, James has worked in a range of different sectors, from multinational media through financial services and state government. James has experience in both development (with a focus on web based development) and system administration roles, and has been exploring the opportunities offered by the move to non traditional media. As well as his industry experience. James has been quite active in the Free and Open Source Software community. He was elected to the position of Ordinary Committee member for Linux Australia where he has assumed the role of Grants Tsar as well as helping to manage the press needs of Australias premier FOSS community body.

Karin Purser

Since mid 2005, Karin has been active in the community, promoting the grass roots groups that make up the Australian FOSS community through her LUG Roundup podcast, as well as providing effective and helpful support to a wide range of individuals on the subjects of PC security and FOSS.
